Pakistan Business Council Sharjah launches member company visits
New initiative aims to deepen collaboration among Pakistani entrepreneurs in UAE
SHARJAH – The Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Sharjah has launched a new initiative to strengthen ties among its members and explore business opportunities across the emirate.
The campaign includes direct visits to Pakistani-owned enterprises, allowing council leaders to engage with company heads, discuss operational challenges, and highlight avenues for future growth.
Member company visits
As part of the latest phase, a high-level delegation led by Chairman Dr SM Tahir, alongside directors Syed Saleem Akhtar, Amir Hassan, Salman Wisal, Safdar Rashid, and executive member Dr Noor Al Sabah, toured several prominent businesses.
The first stop was at Safetex Group of Companies, recognised for its role in Pakistan’s textile export sector. Conversations focused on expanding bilateral trade and identifying fresh opportunities for collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE.
The delegation then visited Expert Plus, an established audit and accountancy firm providing financial services ranging from bookkeeping to taxation. Discussions highlighted the importance of compliance and professional financial management in ensuring transparency for businesses operating in the region.
The group also toured Vista Marine Travel and Tours, a leading agency offering inbound and outbound travel solutions. The visit underscored the role of tourism in promoting cultural exchange and reinforcing business ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
Chairman Dr SM Tahir noted that such visits are essential for understanding members’ requirements and supporting their expansion.
The campaign will continue with tours of more enterprises, reaffirming PBC Sharjah’s commitment to the sustainability and growth of Pakistani businesses in the UAE.
